However, when new regulations significantly restricted timber production in the region, the Gonzalez family made an important decision to shift their business toward coffee production.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe land had never been planted with coffee before. Starting from scratch, the Gonzalez family transformed what had once been a pine forest into a beautiful coffee farm.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eMario’s son-in-law, Jairo, who is an agronomist, has played an important role in the farm’s development.
